Sound the alarms, call your friends, ring the bell. Popcap has announced that they are working on a sequel to their hit game: Plants vs. Zombies . The game is set to release late next spring, and will feature the usual things for game sequels.
New settings, new scenarios, and other new features. It is odd however, that no release platforms were announced.
“Spring is
crullestcurlieungood time, and plantz grow dull roots,” noted an unidentified spokesperson. “So, we are meating you for brainz at yore house. No worry toskeduleschedlueplan… we’re freee anytime. We’ll find you.”
Although no official platforms for release were given, it seems likely that iOS will be among them. Plants vs. Zombies was originally released for PC and Mac in 2009, and debuted on iOS in February 2010. Later on it was ported to other platforms, like Nintendo DS, Android, PSN, XBLA, WP7, and PS Vita. Seeing how popular the iOS platform is, it makes sense. We’re very excited about a sequel to the game, and will let you know as soon as any new details arise.
